Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) invites undergrad students to join as Hardware Engineering intern/co-op in Massachusetts. You will work full-time, in a hybrid or onsite setup, contributing to next-generation processors and AI-enabled hardware projects.

You will collaborate with engineers, gain hands-on experience with discrete and embedded hardware, and learn to build applications for external and internal use while scaling AMD's systems for impact.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at a US university in an undergraduate program in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge or experience in ASIC design and verification.
• Exposure to ML and AI concepts is a plus.
• Familiarity with hardware automation, validation and test workflows.
• Experience with UNIX and JTAG tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineers on AMD's discrete and embedded hardware products.
• Assist in building applications for external and internal use and large-scale systems.
