Job summary

Amgen in Cambridge, Massachusetts, seeks an Undergraduate Co-op in Drug Substance Technologies Synthetics for January–June 2027. You will apply synthetic organic chemistry to deliver robust processes for APIs across development stages, partnering with R&D, Clinical, and Commercial teams.

The six‑month Co‑op will learn scale‑up of small‑molecule intermediates, interact with scientists and engineers, and may receive a transportation allowance for eligible candidates. Base pay is $28.87 per hour.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program with a 3.0 GPA minimum
• Must be located in the United States for the duration of the co‑op program
• Available to work a full‑time schedule

Responsibilities

• Utilize synthetic organic chemistry to deliver robust processes and technologies for API manufacture
• Learn process scale‑up of small‑molecule intermediates, hybrid modalities, and APIs
• Interact with scientists and engineers implementing advanced manufacturing technologies
