Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Mechanic to join Team Mavis in the Brodheadsville, PA area. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and performing a wide range of undercar repairs such as brakes, struts, and tires, plus state inspections and routine maintenance.

Qualified applicants bring at least 2 years of experience or training, an extensive personal toolbox, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Extensive toolbox of personal tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services.
• Repair undercar components, including brakes, struts and shocks.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts and manage tires.
