GBH News offers a hybrid internship in Brighton, MA, where you will work with the Under the Radar team to learn the end-to-end process of producing weekly radio and podcast segments.

You will shadow the show producer and host, assisting with pre- and post-production, script writing, and guest coordination. The program runs January 25 through April 16, with compensation at $17/hour for part-time work.

Qualifications

• Experience in audio production for radio or podcasts.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a growing newsroom.

Responsabilités

• Generate editorial content for Under the Radar.
• Source and pre-interview prospective guests.
• Assist in pre-production: scripts, sound clips, guest prep.
• Assist in post-production: edit segments, create web versions, cross-promotional scripts.
