Job summary

Craft Massachusetts, a division within Sheehan Family Companies, seeks an Under CDL Delivery Driver to safely operate box trucks and/or vans and deliver pre-sold products to customer accounts. You will help rotate stock and ensure all loads are secure while maintaining professional service standards.

Starting pay is $24.00/hour with a range to $26.50/hour. The schedule runs Monday through Friday with start times from 5:45 AM; end times vary by route and workload.

Qualifications

• Active Under CDL license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating Under CDL vehicles in city-traffic.
• Must be 21 years or older due to alcohol transport laws.
• Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe driving practices.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday starting at 5:45 AM.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with traffic laws.
• Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.
• Rotate stock and place products appropriately in storage areas.
• Ensure pallets loaded onto the truck are secure for transport.
• Collect empty containers and returns as required by the supplier.
• Load and return dunnage, pallets, and load bars to the supplier.
• Maintain a courteous, professional attitude toward customers and teammates.
• Complete the DVIR to report maintenance or repair needs.

Job Type: Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Job Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:45am - 1:00pm - 5:00pm; depending on route and daily workload

Pay Range: $24.00 - $26.50/hour; Starting pay $24.00/hour

Objective: Under CDL Delivery Drivers are responsible for safely operating box trucks and/or vans - all equipped with automatic transmissions. This position plays a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and professional delivery service while upholding product quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.
• Rotate stock and place products appropriately in dry and refrigerated storage areas.
• Ensure all pallets loaded onto the truck are secure and stable for transport.
• Collect empty containers and returns as required by the supplier.
• Load and return dunnage, pallets, and load bars to the supplier.
• Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude toward customers and team members.
• Complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) to report any maintenance or repair needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age. This is a legal requirement to transport alcohol.
• Active Under CDL License in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating Under CDL vehicles in city-traffic.
• Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe driving practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday starting at 5:45 AM; end times may vary between 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM depending on route and delivery volume.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, often in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, lift, and twist regularly.
• Must be able to lift approximately 55 lbs (e.g., two cases of beer).
• Must be able to operate a two-handed hand truck on inclines and stairs.
• Requires frequent walking up and down stairs and inclines.
• Must have sufficient vision and hearing to perform job duties safely and effectively.
