Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a senior unclaimed property consultant to guide clients through compliance and planning strategies. You’ll leverage your knowledge of unclaimed property concepts and provide practical solutions while mentoring junior team members.

The role emphasizes collaboration, client relationships, and delivering value in a hybrid work environment with travel as needed. A strong background in tax and state/local compliance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant unclaimed property experience.
• CPA, US Bar or IPT designation preferred.
• Experience with compliance, audit defense and consulting for unclaimed property.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid model.

Responsibilities

• Lead client consultations and optimize unclaimed property approaches.
• Develop relationships with clients and coach junior staff.
• Apply extensive knowledge of unclaimed property concepts and requirements.
