The UNC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gynecologic Oncologist interested in a career in academic medicine. This is a full-time, tenure track or variable track faculty position. Responsibilities include comprehensive care of patients (outpatient, inpatient, and surgical), education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and participation in the division’s research mission. Patients include women with gynecologic cancers, cervical and vulvar dysplasia, and those with an increased risk of developing gynecologic malignancies and benign complex gynecologic pathologies. The clinical assignment will be split between UNC Hospital and REX Hospital, and the position will share night and weekend call with other providers. We are seeking a faculty member with a record of excellence as a clinician.
Completion of a 4‑year ACGME residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology and an ABOG‑approved 3‑year fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology are required, in addition to experience working as a gynecologic oncologist in an academic setting.
Minimally invasive surgery experience is expected.
