Allied Universal in Colorado Springs is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol). You will serve and safeguard clients in a government location, perform routine patrols, maintain a welcoming, secure environment, and respond to security concerns with integrity and teamwork.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving posts. You must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be eligible for background checks and a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols of government facilities, grounds, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor activity and incidents.
• Report hazards, policy violations, and other conditions requiring attention to site leadership.
