Job summary

Allied Universal in Tempe, AZ is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Corporate Bank Patrol to protect clients at a financial institution. You will monitor areas, conduct patrols, and provide courteous service while enforcing site policies and emergency procedures.

This full-time role offers a $20.00 per hour pay rate and a daytime schedule. Ideal candidates have security experience, a high school diploma, CPR certification (preferred), and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial-services location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting access concerns and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
