Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: Valid driver’s license; Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; High school diploma or equivalent; Background check as per law; Drug screen as permitted; Licensing requirements may apply; Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at a utility operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare accurate reports.
• Observe and report hazards, damaged property, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
