Job summary

Allied Universal in Johnstown, OH is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver to serve clients across commercial real estate and related facilities. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a strong visible presence, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while following site policies.

This unarmed driving post requires a valid driver's license, ability to work weekdays and weekends as listed, and the ability to complete background checks and drug screening as required.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial office areas, parking facilities, common spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or security-related issues.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site policies; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
