Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Service) in Ellenwood, GA. You will monitor and patrol areas, deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations.

Responsibilities include providing customer service, managing access points, responding to incidents, and coordinating with emergency responders when needed. Requires 1 year of armed security experience and HS diploma; background check and drug screening are

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle lots, trailer yards, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and check credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site policies.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazardous conditions, and/or incidents to the appropriate personnel, completing accurate reports as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
