Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Access Verification Patrol in Austin, TX to safeguard clients across financial institutions and other facilities. You will monitor access points, deter incidents, and deliver superior customer service while upholding site policies.

The role offers daytime schedules with competitive pay of $23.00 per hour and opportunities for training and career growth within a dynamic, community-focused team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with bank personnel, customers, and law enforcement while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.
