Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time unarmed patrol role in Charlotte, NC. The position focuses on access control, customer service, and a visible security presence to deter incidents.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor entry points, and report security concerns, while maintaining a welcoming environment and adhering to site procedures. A HS diploma and security experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors while following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and escalate according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the property and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting policy violations.
• Complete required patrol logs and incident documentation accurately and promptly.
