Job summary

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. seeks an Unarmed Security Officer for our Parkerburg Regional Office healthcare facility in Belpre, OH. This role supports patient, staff and visitor safety with patrols, access control, and incident response.

We offer 24-32 hours per week with multiple shifts (including weekends). A valid driver's license, ability to obtain Ohio Guard Card, drug screen and background check clearance are required for employment.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain an Ohio Guard Card.
• Clean drug screen and cleared background check.
• Physical Exam Clearance.
• Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and grounds.
• Monitor cameras and alarms; respond to suspicious activity.
• Enforce hospital policies to maintain safety.
• Respond to emergencies; coordinate with authorities.
• Provide a visible security presence and greet staff.
• Report incidents and maintain security logs.

Pay Rate: $14.86 per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a responsible and professional Unarmed Security Officer to join our team at a prestigious healthcare facility. This is an essential role to maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring the premises, responding to incidents, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring a peaceful and secure environment in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols throughout the facility and surrounding grounds.
• Monitor security cameras and alarms, identifying and responding to any suspicious activity.
• Assist with the enforcement of hospital policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Respond to emergencies, providing immediate assistance as needed and coordinating with local authorities when required.
• Provide a visible security presence, greeting visitors and staff with professionalism.
• Report incidents, maintain security logs, and assist in investigations when necessary.
• Assist in access control, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed entry.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain an Ohio Guard Card and meet the necessary qualifications to work in security in Ohio.
• Clean drug screen and cleared background check .
• Physical Exam Clearance to ensure fitness for the duties required.
• Prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred, but not required.
