Job summary

Prosegur in Kansas City, MO is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the Weekend Part Time (Guarding) role. You will patrol, monitor access points, and respond to incidents to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid City of Kansas City, MO Guard License, and strong written and verbal English communication. Part-time weekend shifts with potential for ongoing hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferably in possession of a valid City of Kansas City, MO Guard License.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• 18+ years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferably in possession of a valid City of Kansas City, MO Guard License
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Capable of following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
