Qualifications

• Must be mentally alert and capable of exercising good judgment, implementing instructions, and assimilating necessary specialized training.
• Must have the ability to speak, read and write English.
• Must understand and carry out oral and written direction and write accurate and clear reports.
• Must be able to monitor environmental and electronic security systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high visibility as a visual deterrent to crime and criminal elements.
• Answer routine questions for directions and handle minor problems.
• Monitor the entry and exit of personnel at Client Agency facilities.
• Observe and immediately report situations to the appropriate personnel.
• Contact local law enforcement or emergency personnel in case of incidents.
• Inspect facilities to ensure security.
• Maintain security logs and write incident reports.
