Job summary

A & A Services in Washington state is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to protect clients and property. You will monitor premises, conduct patrols, respond to alarms, and collaborate with local law enforcement as needed.

The role requires strong observational skills, calm decision-making under pressure, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A high school diploma and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred; an unarmed security license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; security management training preferred.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or military service highly desirable.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Familiar with loss prevention techniques.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the safety of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing conflict management when necessary.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed in case of emergencies or investigations.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals on-site.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches.
