Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring for an Unarmed Security Officer on the first shift at the Toyota Battery Manufacturing Plant in Liberty, NC. The role offers on-site work, training opportunities, and advancement potential within a service-driven team dedicated to protecting people and property.

The position emphasizes reliable performance, professional conduct, and strong communication as you perform rover, gatehouse, and front-desk duties including access control, visitor logging, and CCTV

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state licensing, if applicable.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival.
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
