Job summary

BGI Security, LLC is seeking unarmed Security Officers for a site near Bell Road and 7th Street in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on patrol, access control, incident reporting, and maintaining a safe environment for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ DPS Unarmed Guard Card is required.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for security and public safety.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong observational, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems and reporting tools.
• First Aid/BLS and self-defense training preferred.
• Tech-savvy with experience in electronic reporting.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible security presence.
• Monitor and authorize the entrance of vehicles and personnel.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activity.
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows at the end of operations.
• Monitor surveillance cameras to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Escort or remove unauthorized individuals from the property.
• Assist employees and visitors as needed.
• Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Promptly report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or incidents to management.
• Participate in required training sessions and safety briefings.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
