Job summary

Allied Universal in Hatfield, PA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Reporter to protect facilities across utilities-related environments. You will monitor access, conduct patrols, report hazards, and respond calmly to incidents while delivering excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

This full-time position offers a pay rate of $18.25 per hour with daytime and night shifts, background and drug screening, state licensing where required, and

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities-related environmental services location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Report hazards, damaged fencing, unsecured doors, lighting issues, and other security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
