Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driving Role in Roy, UT to safeguard clients across aerospace/defense sites. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service consistent with Allied Universal’s people-first culture.

The role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance, a valid driver’s license, and compliance with site procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required by policy.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Guard card/licence preferred.
• Be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
