Job summary

Allied Universal in Washington, DC is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) to monitor and safeguard a financial institution location. You will provide professional customer service, conduct patrols, verify credentials, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related activities.

Responsibilities include regular patrols of building, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter; monitoring access points; producing accurate reports and logs; and

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as part of employment process.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff at the financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials per site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify site contacts and responders as required.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols and incidents.
