Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time, on-site role in Chicago, IL. The position involves patrolling, accessing control, and delivering exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors.

The role requires at least 5 years of security-related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and comfort with tablet/computer usage. A guard card is preferred, with background checks and drug screening conducted as required by law.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of property and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity according to procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations for supervisors.
• Complete daily activity reports and communicate security information.
