Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Unarmed Route Patrol in Independence, KY to provide customer service and deter security incidents at a logistics location. You will conduct patrols, monitor access, and follow site protocols while representing a caring, collaborative culture.

Minimum requirements include being 18+ for unarmed roles, HS diploma, background check, and drug screen. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, observe inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian activity, and report unusual conditions to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
