ACT Security Group is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a construction site in Haskell, TX. The role requires vigilance, reliable transportation, and a Texas Level II Non-Commissioned Security License.

The position offers a rotating 4/3 and 3/4 schedules with day and night shifts, and on-site room and board for this remote site. The employer provides benefits including health and dental insurance, paid holidays, and ongoing licensing assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a Texas Level II Non-Commissioned Security License.
• Previous security experience preferred, especially in construction or industrial settings.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Ability to patrol on foot and remain alert for long shifts.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.

Responsibilities

• Work posted in the guard shack performing access control duties.
• Verify credentials and allow entry for authorized personnel.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft, trespassing, and unauthorized activity.
• Monitor site activity and report suspicious behavior immediately.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports as required.
• Communicate with supervisors and site leadership as needed.
• Assist with incident response and documentation when necessary.
• Conduct foot patrols of the site when required.
• Maintain professional uniform appearance and follow all post orders.

Job Skills / Requirements

Starting Pay Rate: $19.25/hour

Schedule:

Officers will work a rotating schedule as follows:

• Week 1: 4 days on / 3 days off(48 hours per week)
• Week 2: 3 days on / 4 days off(36 hours per week)

Shifts Available:

• Day Shift 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Night Shift 6:00 pm to 6:00 am
• Shift times are set schedules.

Due to the remote location of this work site, Officers will have the opportunity to live on-site during scheduled hours, with room and board provided at no cost.
