Job summary

Marksman Security Corporation is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for a high-volume distribution facility in Texas. The role focuses on protecting people, property, and assets through access control, patrols, and security checks.

The ideal candidate will have prior security and customer service experience, be 18+ with a High School diploma or equivalent, and hold a Texas Non-Commissioned Security License. The shift is Tue–Sat, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, 40 hours per week, starting pay $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Texas Non-Commissioned Security License is required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Reliable and capable of multitasking under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Access control and security checks according to site procedures.
• Monitor dock and warehouse areas; log inbound/outbound trucks.
• Assist with inbound truck processing and keep logs updated.
• Conduct routine security checks and report concerns to supervisor.
• Perform foot patrols to deter theft and observe suspicious activity.
• Maintain accurate records using site computer systems.
