Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring unarmed Security Officers for a 6-month contract in New Albany, Ohio. Responsibilities include customer service, monitoring cameras, managing access for tenants and visitors, and patrolling to prevent theft.

Pay is $20.50 per hour on Monday–Friday shifts (1st and 2nd). Requirements: at least 18, HS diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to obtain Ohio Security License, and to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Ohio Security License including state accredited training requirements.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to meet physical essential functions (lifting 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs, inclement weather).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building.
• Other duties as assigned
