Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard (Full Time Unarmed) for a government building in Irvine, CA. You will patrol, deter incidents, and maintain a secure environment while delivering professional customer service to clients and staff.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, documenting observations, and responding to security-related concerns. Candidates should have security experience and complete a background check and drug screen as required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report findings per site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, grounds, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate with leadership and contacts.
