Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for full-time coverage in St. Charles, MO. You will maintain a safe environment, patrol areas, observe hazards, and report findings while engaging with clients and staff in a professional manner.

Requirements include 18+ years old, HS diploma or GED, English communication, and the ability to work nights and weekends. Valid Guard License is preferred. Prosegur offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferably valid City of Kansas City, MO Guard License.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Capable of following complex instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in the screening process (drug screen and background).
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
