Job summary

St. Moritz Security Services, Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to help maintain safety at our facility. You will patrol, monitor, and respond to security concerns while providing a professional and courteous presence for staff and visitors.

Full- or part-time options are available with rotating shifts: 6:00 AM-2:00 PM, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM, and 10:00 PM-6:00 AM. Pay rate is $15.91 per hour. Benefits include medical, life, dental, vision, and a 401K/403b plan.

Qualifications

• 1 year of security experience.
• Open and weekend availability.
• A valid driver's license and/or satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) may be required, depending on the specific site and job duties.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas, including walking or vehicle patrols.
• Monitor for security threats, hazards, or emergencies and respond appropriately.
• Provide site-specific support, such as lobby/visitor reception, loss prevention, or loading dock security.
• Prepare accurate incident and activity reports.
• Follow all company policies, emergency procedures, and Use of Force guidelines.
• Represent the company with professionalism, including maintaining appearance and customer service standards.
