Job summary

Private Eye Protection LLC in Duluth, GA is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets. You’ll maintain a strong, visible presence to deter unlawful behavior, respond to incidents, and create a safe environment for clients and the community.

This role reports to a Sergeant and requires weekend availability, 21+ years old, a valid driver’s license, reliable smartphone with internet, and good communication and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year security or related experience preferred.
• Eligible for Georgia 24-hour unarmed security certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Smartphone with full internet access required.
• Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Weekend and evening/holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned sites, including perimeters and buildings.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and control access.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or suspicious activity.
• Enforce site-specific rules and report violations.
• Write incident reports and communicate with supervisors and law enforcement when needed.
• Support emergency response efforts.
• Operate screening devices if required.
