Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time in Lenexa, KS. You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while performing unarmed patrols and monitoring access points.

The role involves responding to alarms and incidents, following emergency procedures, and documenting observations in accordance with site requirements. The position emphasizes a visible security presence to deter incidents, adherence to site procedures, and a commitment to integrity

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal evaluates applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following emergency procedures and notifying the appropriate contacts.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly per Allied Universal/site requirements.
