Job summary

Blackout Security Services LLC is seeking professional, physically fit unarmed security officers for event security assignments in the Los Angeles area. This is a high visibility, guest facing role.

You will be the first impression of the venue and must maintain a sharp, alert presence. Officers must hold a valid California BSIS Guard Card, be able to stand and patrol for full shifts, and communicate clearly with event staff and clients.

Qualifications

• Valid California BSIS Guard Card is required.
• Must be physically fit and able to stand, walk, and patrol for a full shift.
• Strong communication skills.
• Punctual, dependable, and coachable.
• Prior security experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional presence throughout the event.
• Check in guests, verify credentials, and manage access control at entry points.
• Monitor crowd flow and identify potential safety concerns.
• Conduct foot patrols of the venue interior and perimeter.
• Respond calmly and decisively to incidents and coordinate with the lead officer on site.
• Complete accurate, detailed post orders and incident reports when required.
• Communicate clearly with event staff and client representatives.

This role requires officers who can stand, walk, and patrol for a full shift, and respond quickly if a situation demands it. This is an active, on your feet position, not a sit down post. If you are not in good physical condition, please do not apply.

GROOMING AND APPEARANCE STANDARDS
Blackout Security officers represent a law enforcement led brand. All officers must maintain a clean, sharp, professional appearance at all times, including:

• Clean shaven or neatly maintained facial hair
• No visible face tattoos
• Hair neatly groomed and presentable
• Clean, pressed uniform pants (no fading or wear)
• Boots and shirt provided by Blackout, must be worn clean and presentable
