Job summary

Allied Universal in Los Angeles (DTLA) seeks a Security Officer to safeguard clients across Government, real estate, healthcare, and more. You will deliver customer service, enforce safety procedures, and respond to incidents.

We provide daily and weekly pay options, paid training and uniforms, plus a full-time on-site role with health insurance and a 401(k). Background checks and a drug screen may be required per law.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws; Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Drug screen required where allowed by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; vary by client site.

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard client in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
