Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Badge Assistance in Needham Heights, MA. You will monitor access, patrol facilities, and assist tenants and visitors, delivering professional service while maintaining a visible security presence.

This full-time position pays $25.55 per hour and follows a day schedule with shifts listed in the posting. You will work with a team to deter incidents, respond to alarms, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for occupants.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Proficient with a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and property concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and the public while supporting a welcoming environment and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive activity.
