Marksman Security Corporation is seeking a reliable Security Officer for a Monday–Friday shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Garland, TX. You will welcome visitors, verify identities, manage access control, patrol premises, report incidents, and keep client sites secure.

Ideal candidates are at least 21, with a high school diploma, a Texas non-commissioned security license, strong customer service, and proficiency in reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Monitoring and surveillance experience.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors.
• Manage access control.
• Perform regular patrols to identify risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Scan badges for client personnel.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Conduct roving patrols as required.
