Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Day Patrol in Independence, KY. You will safeguard clients, conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while upholding site policies and corporate standards.

This full-time position requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent, and successful completion of background checks and drug screening where allowed. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation per applicable laws.
• Background checks will be considered in compliance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report observations following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, yards, docks, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and verify authorized personnel and visitors per site policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations through required reports.
