Marksman Security is seeking Unarmed Security Officers for Cedar Rapids, IA. This full-time role requires weekend availability and pays $21.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, conducting interior and exterior patrols, responding to alarms, and reporting incidents. A valid Iowa security license and a driver's license are required, with pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to obtain Iowa security license and complete state training.
• Valid driver\'s license.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information.
• Enforce site rules by warning or reporting individuals violating regulations (e.g., loitering, smoking, carrying prohibited items).
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to identify safety and security risks.
• Respond to alarms, emergency calls, and incidents involving unauthorized individuals, injuries, or fires.
• Notify appropriate emergency services (police, fire department, EMS) when necessary.
• Accurately complete and submit reports, records, and incident documentation in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the security manager.
