Patriot Group International Inc. is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer in Denver, CO. The role involves providing compliant security and protective services in alignment with corporate policies and crisis plans, under the direction of the Project Manager.

The position includes access control, alarm and video surveillance operation, and routine security reporting. A state certification, background check, and drug screening are required; U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must be able to complete state Security Officer certification process (online app, fingerprints, background check).
• Fluent in English reading/writing/speaking.
• Must have reliable transportation year-round.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and periodic tests.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsabilités

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and visitors.
• Control access and uphold physical security principles.
• Operate intrusion alarms, fire and video surveillance systems.
• Communicate security information clearly and accurately.
• Run entry/egress control equipment as needed.
• Perform roving patrols of interior and exterior areas.
• Process ID badges and maintain daily security reports.
• Monitor intrusion detection systems and respond to incidents.
• Support life safety duties per post orders and SOPs.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Project Manager.

We are looking to hire an Unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Denver, CO. This position reports to the Project Manager.

The Unarmed Security Officer shall provide compliant physical security and protective services in accordance with corporate policies and security and crisis management plans and procedures which may include, but are not limited to, the following general tasks:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and visitors
• Access control and physical security principles
• Operation of intrusion alarms, production, and fire detection equipment, as well as video surveillance equipment operation
• Accurate communication of security information and procedures
• Operation of entry and egress access control equipment
• Roving foot patrols of interior and exterior building areas
• Identification badge process production
• Production of complete and detailed security incident and daily operating reports
• Monitoring and responding to intrusion detection systems
• Responding as necessary to support other life safety duties as identified in post orders and standard operating procedures
• Any other activity as requested by Supervisor/Project Manager.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to complete state Security Officer certification, including the online application process, fingerprints, and background investigation
• Must have reliable transportation during all seasons
• Must fluently speak, read, comprehend, and write in English
• Must have High School diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and periodic random drug screening
• U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possess current City of Denver-issued Security Guard License
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience
• Demonstrated history of safe and successful security operations experience in highly secure facilities

Physical Requirements:

• This position requires lifting, standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday, with some workdays being up to 12 hours.
