About This Role

This position supports Protective Services within SecurTec's Physical Security division, safeguarding government administrative buildings in Clearwater, FL.

Position Summary

Unarmed Security Officers assigned to this post are responsible for the protection of personnel, property, and assets at government administrative buildings. Officers serve as a visible deterrent, control site access, monitor for suspicious activity, and respond to incidents in accordance with post orders and established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional, unarmed protective presence at all assigned posts
• Control and monitor facility access points, verifying credentials and screening visitors
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols to identify and address security concerns
• Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and communications equipmentRespond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
• Document activity, observations, and incidents in detailed written reports
• Enforce site‑specific post orders, facility rules, and applicable regulations
• Coordinate with site supervision, client representatives, and emergency responders as needed
