Allied Universal in West Des Moines, IA is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Access Verification Patrol. The role involves monitoring and patrolling to deter security incidents, supporting access control, and delivering excellent customer service at a financial institution.

We require at least two years of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report unusual conditions and maintain logs.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations per site procedures and contact appropriate personnel.
• Regularly patrol the banking location, offices, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and directing customers and deliveries per site requirements.
