Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking Entry Level and Experienced Security Officers in Illinois to join our expanding team. You will stand guard at security posts, direct visitors, issue access badges, and provide escorts as necessary.

The role includes logging data, conducting patrols, and responding to alarms in line with post orders. Ideal candidates have high school diploma or GED, a State Security Officer License (preferred), and a valid driving license with a good record.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security or related field.
• State Security Officer License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stand guard at security officer post, directing visitors, issuing access badges, and providing escorts as necessary.
• Log visitor data and other basic reports in the security computer system.
• Conduct foot patrols in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies as directed in post orders.
• Look for and report potential safety hazards.
• Wear and maintain PPE as outlined for the position and follow PPE policies.
• Follow client site-specific duties outlined in post-orders.
