Job summary

TriCorps is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer in Amsterdam, Carrollton, and Wellsville, Ohio. The role focuses on guarding people and property through vigilance, access control, and incident response. You will represent TriCorps with professionalism while maintaining safety and security for clients.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and hold an Ohio Security Guard License. Shifts include day, evening, night, weekends, and holidays, with full-time employment and benefits

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to buildings, ensuring only authorized entry.
• Patrol designated areas on foot to maintain visibility and deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, service calls, and incidents as needed.
• Protect employees, visitors, and property through consistent observation and awareness.
• Write accurate daily activity and incident reports in a timely manner.
• Greet and assist employees, guests, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy.
• Answer phone calls and provide information or assistance as appropriate.
• Contact emergency services such as law enforcement or the fire department during critical situations.
• Escort personnel to and from facilities when required.

As a TriCorps officer, you will be responsible for protecting people, property, and assets through vigilant patrol, access control, and incident response. Officers play a key role in maintaining safety and order while representing TriCorps and our clients with professionalism and courtesy.
