Job summary

Road Ranger Security Services is seeking a committed security officer for our Doral property to maintain a safe environment and control access.

You will perform patrols, respond to incidents, and enforce protocol while interacting with residents, contractors, and management. We value attention to detail, calmness under pressure, and reliable teamwork. Prior security experience is preferred; CPR/First Aid certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of prior security experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to stay calm during emergencies and high-pressure situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for reports and interactions.
• Physical fitness to patrol and respond quickly.
• HS diploma or equivalent required; CPR/First Aid certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Access control duties in a high paced environment. Heavy traffic during peak hours.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including parking lots, and entry points, to identify potential risks.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, ensuring the safety of employees and visitors.
• Enforce security protocols, including verifying IDs, controlling propertyaccess, and managing visitor logs.
• Perform routine inspections of doors, windows, and equipment to prevent unauthorized access or damage.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities and observations.
• Assist in evacuations or other emergency actions when necessary.

Hours
