Gamma Team Security Inc. is seeking reliable Unarmed Security Officers to join our Illinois-based team. You will patrol premises, control access, monitor surveillance, and respond to incidents with professionalism and discretion.

This role requires 18+, PERC, 20-hour training, ability to pass a background check and drug screen, and a high school diploma or GED. Prior security or customer service experience is preferred, along with familiarity with security technology and reporting systems.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid PERC.
• 20 Hour Basic Training Certificate.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Two types of identification documents, one of which is a government‑issued photo ID.
• Be in good physical condition.
• Preferred: security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Experience with security technology and reporting systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct routine foot or vehicle patrols of assigned areas (interior and exterior).
• Monitor surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm equipment.
• Manage facility access by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and documenting entries.
• Observe, identify, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
• Maintain order, protect property, and ensure the safety of employees and visitors.
• Prepare accurate and timely daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and emergency personnel when necessary.
• Follow all company procedures, client protocols, and applicable state and federal regulations.

Position Summary

The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access, conducting patrols, observing activities, and reporting incidents. Officers in this role help prevent theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and disruptions through professionalism, vigilance, and effective communication.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC).
• 20 Hour Basic Training Certificate.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies.
• High school diploma or GED.

Work Environment

This position involves working indoors and outdoors, sometimes in varying weather conditions. Officers must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times and follow all safety protocols.
