Job summary

TriCorps seeks an Unarmed Security Officer in the Oklahoma City metro area to monitor access, protect people and property, and respond to incidents. The role requires professional presence, clear communication, and proactive alertness across day, night, weekends, and holidays.

No prior security license is required; TriCorps will assist in obtaining a conditional license and then full unarmed license. This is a full- and part-time position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No security license required; TriCorps will assist candidates in obtaining a conditional license and then their full unarmed security license.
• Demonstrate professionalism, strong communication, and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to buildings, entrances, and exits to ensure a secure environment.
• Protect employees, visitors, and property through active observation and professional presence.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and requests for service promptly and effectively.
• Conduct foot patrols of assigned areas to identify and report safety or security concerns.
• Write clear and detailed daily activity and incident reports.
• Answer phone calls, greet employees, guests, and vendors, and provide general assistance as needed.
• Contact emergency services such as law enforcement or the fire department during incidents involving violations, fires, or other emergencies.
• Escort personnel to and from facilities when required.
• Support management and client instructions to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
