Job summary

M1 Global in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer with 2 weeks PTO and paid training to become an SOC Analyst for a Fortune 500 client. Weekly pay, competitive benefits, flexible schedules, and a 401(k) program are offered.

Responsibilities include auditing security systems, monitoring alarms and access control, coordinating incident responses, and documenting investigations while complying with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a drug test and background screening
• Prior security, military, corrections, or law enforcement experience is a plus
• State Security License preferred; assistance available to obtain it
• Reliable transportation

• Monitor and analyze alarms, access control, and intrusion systems to identify true threats and reduce false positives
• Coordinate and dispatch resources during security incidents, serving as the primary communication hub
• Lead communication during crisis events, including preparedness alerts and business continuity actions
• Support commissioning, testing, and configuration of new or upgraded security systems
• Compile documentation and evidence for reports, audits, and investigations
• Refine security procedures based on evolving threats and operational needs

Your Responsibilities:

• Escalate incidents according to established procedures
• Provide clear, calm communication during rapidly evolving situations
• Collaborate with internal teams and client representatives
• Follow all SOC SOPs, post orders, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in drills, tabletop exercises, and ongoing training

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a drug test and background screening.
• Prior experience in security, military, corrections, or law enforcement is a plus.
