Join a company where you are more than just another guard.The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, visitors, and property. Officers monitor premises, enforce site policies, patrol designated areas, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned properties.Monitor entrances, exits, and access control points.Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security violations.Complete incident, accident, and daily activity reports accurately and timely.Respond to emergencies and contact law enforcement, fire, or medical personnel when necessary.Enforce client and company policies and procedures.Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity.Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, when applicable.Perform other security-related duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of age.High school diploma or GEDCandidates assigned to mobile patrol or vehicle-based posts must meet company eligibility requirements for Mobile Security Officer status, including successful completion of all required driving and insurance qualification reviewsAbility to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.Previous security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred but not required.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Excellent observation and attention to detail.Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.Basic computer and report-writing skills.Dependable attendance and punctuality.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to climb stairs and perform routine patrols.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.Schedule & Availability:Must be willing to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Overtime opportunities may be available.Preferred Experience:Security Officer experienceCustomer Service experienceMilitary backgroundAccess Control experienceCCTV monitoring experienceClarion Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
