Job summary

M1 Global is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Hutto, TX. Earn $25.00–$26.00 per hour with paid training toward SOC Analyst capabilities for a Fortune 500 client.

The role covers monitoring security systems, coordinating incident response, and supporting system upgrades. Benefits include weekly pay, health/dental/vision, 401(k), and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a drug test and background screening.
• Prior security/military/corrections/law enforcement background is a plus.
• State Security License preferred; assistance available to obtain it.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Audit and monitor security systems and alarms.
• Manage access control and monitor intrusion systems.
• Coordinate and dispatch resources during security incidents.
• Lead communications during crises and during business continuity actions.
• Support commissioning, testing, and configuration of security systems.
• Compile documentation for reports, audits, and investigations.
• Refine procedures based on threats and needs.

Your Responsibilities

• Audit and review security systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
• Monitor and analyze alarms, access control, and intrusion systems to identify true threats and reduce false positives
• Coordinate and dispatch resources during security incidents, serving as the primary communication hub
• Lead communication during crisis events, including preparedness alerts and business continuity actions
• Support commissioning, testing, and configuration of new or upgraded security systems
• Compile documentation and evidence for reports, audits, and investigations
• Refine security procedures based on evolving threats and operational needs

Communication & Compliance

• Escalate incidents according to established procedures
• Provide clear, calm communication during rapidly evolving situations
• Collaborate with internal teams and client representatives
• Follow all SOC SOPs, post orders, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in drills, tabletop exercises, and ongoing training

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a drug test and background screening.
• Prior experience in security, military, corrections, or law enforcement is a plus.
